Her family had been in tourism for generations. They knew the industry — the group tours, the fixed routes, the well-rehearsed scripts. Sara grew up in that world, but she always felt there was something more. The China she knew — the one worth crossing oceans for — wasn't in any of those itineraries.
Before building a travel company, Sara became a traveler. Not the kind that hops between landmarks with a checklist.
